Dazhboards - How TechEniac Connected Bookings, Marketing, and Operations Into One Platform

Dazhboards is a business intelligence and operations platform built specifically for tour and activity operators to bring bookings, analytics, CRM, customer communication, marketing, and operational workflows into one connected system. The platform connects multiple booking and business tools, giving operators a unified view of their sales and operations while reducing the administrative effort involved in managing disconnected systems. It also provides AI-powered customer support, voice automation, forecasting, dynamic pricing, and structured reseller management, creating a more intelligent operating layer for growing tour businesses.

Client Background

The product is shaped by first-hand experience in travel and is focused on helping operators reduce administration, improve visibility, increase profitability, and deliver better guest experiences. Dazhboards is positioned as an intelligent operating layer that connects the tools operators already use rather than adding another disconnected system.

Dazhboards was founded by Dinesh Kaku, its Founder and CEO. Dinesh has more than 15 years of technology experience and previously founded Deal A Day and Backpacker Deals; Backpacker Deals was acquired by Travello at the end of 2020. Dazhboards was founded in April 2024 and is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia.

Dazhboards Pty Ltd is an Australian SaaS company built for tour and activity operators. Its platform brings business intelligence, automation, bookings, customer engagement, marketing, and operational workflows into one connected system.

Pain Points

As tour and activity businesses grow across multiple booking channels, communication platforms, and operational tools, keeping the entire business in sync becomes increasingly difficult. Operators needed a centralized system to bring bookings, customer conversations, reviews, contracts, reseller management, and business performance together without relying on disconnected tools and manual reconciliation.

Bookings Were Scattered Across Multiple Platforms

Tour operators were managing bookings across Rezdy, Bokun, and other reservation systems, making it difficult to get a unified view of sales and requiring manual reconciliation.

Customer Conversations Were Spread Across Eight Channels

WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Gmail, Outlook, live chat, SMS, and other inboxes made it difficult for staff to keep up with customer conversations without constantly switching between platforms.

Review Management Was Mostly Reactive

Reviews across Google, TripAdvisor, and other platforms were disconnected from daily operations, making it difficult for operators to actively track, manage, and respond to customer feedback.

Contracts and Waivers Needed Verifiable Signatures

Simply collecting signed PDFs wasn't enough for liability-sensitive operations. Operators needed a reliable digital signing process with a clear record of who signed a document and when.

Reseller Commissions Became Difficult to Track

As operators worked with resellers and sub-resellers, tracking relationships, bookings, and commission payouts became increasingly complex and prone to data-integrity issues.

Client Expectations

One dashboard that reflects sales, marketing, and financial performance across the whole business, not per booking channel.

Bookings synced automatically from connected reservation platforms rather than entered or reconciled by hand.

A single inbox covering every customer messaging channel the business actually uses.

A structured way to collect and respond to reviews, rather than checking review platforms manually.

Contracts and waivers that are digitally signed with a verifiable record, not just PDFs exchanged over email.

Accurate tracking of a multi-tier reseller and sub-reseller network, including commission calculations.

Native connections to accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) instead of manual invoice reconciliation.

The ability to delegate account access to staff and partners without handing over full account control.

A subscription model that scales with the size of the operator's business rather than a one-size-fits-all price.

Some form of automated, AI-assisted coverage for routine customer questions and bookings outside business hours.

Proposed Solution

Automatic sync from connected booking platforms

Rather than asking an operator to check each reservation system separately, Dazhboards runs dedicated sync processes for each connected booking platform - Bokun, Rezdy, Checkfront, Peekpro, Kounta, Procharter, Ibis, and Herotravel - pulling bookings and product data into one consistent set of records. Each sync is built to avoid creating duplicates on repeat runs: incoming bookings are matched against existing records by their platform-specific reference (an order number, a confirmation code) before anything is written, and syncs pull incrementally from where the last run left off rather than re-processing everything each time.

One inbox for every customer channel

The OmniChannel module brings WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Gmail, Outlook, general email/IMAP, a live-chat widget, and SMS/voice (via Twilio) into a single conversation view, so a staff member isn't switching between eight separate apps to answer one customer. Conversations can even turn directly into a booking from within the chat interface, keeping the sales moment attached to the conversation it came from.

Multi-tier reseller and commission management

Dazhboards models the reseller relationship as a real three-level structure — supplier, reseller, and sub-reseller — rather than flattening it into a single "affiliate" concept. Commission rates can be set per relationship, orders carry both the reseller and sub-reseller that generated them, and payout tracking follows that same structure, so a multi-level distribution network doesn't have to be managed outside the platform.

AI chatbot and AI voice agent

A trainable chatbot can be built from an operator's own content - files, a Google Drive connection, website content, or manually written Q&A - and embedded directly on their site to handle routine visitor questions. A separate AI voice agent goes further: it can hold a spoken conversation with a caller and carry it through to checkout, giving an operator a way to cover phone inquiries without needing a person on the line for every call.

How Is This Different from Other Agencies?

Most agencies sell hours. TechEniac partners on outcomes. Here is what that looks like in practice.

Challenges

How We Resolved

Keeping booking data consistent across multiple reservation platforms

Created a unified booking workflow that brings data from connected platforms into one place while helping operators avoid duplicate or fragmented records.

Providing the right level of access for operators, staff, and partner accounts

Designed structured account access so operators can extend the platform to staff and related accounts while keeping each business's information appropriately separated.

Making contracts and waivers more reliable and verifiable

Introduced a secure digital signing workflow with a verifiable record of completed documents, giving operators a clearer audit trail than exchanging static files by email.

Supporting different business sizes and multi-level reseller structures

Built flexible subscription and reseller workflows that support different operator needs, plans, partner structures, and commission arrangements.

Automating recurring operational tasks without unnecessary bottlenecks

Organized booking updates, reminders, and follow-ups to run automatically throughout the day in a controlled way, helping routine operations continue reliably.

Keeping a feature-rich platform simple for operators with different plans and access needs

Tailored platform access around each operator's subscription and permissions so users see the tools and capabilities relevant to their account.
